Development
for
dementia is striving to improve the lives
of people affected by dementia; in order to achieve this,
for dementia reviews and develops existing models of practice,
continuously, and strives to identify new and innovative ways
of delivering services.
A key objective is to expand the network of Admiral
Nurse teams across the whole country, with the aim
of making the service accessible and available equitably.
We wish to extend the availability of the training services
provided by for dementia
training, thereby raising standards and spreading
the ethos of person-centred care more widely across the sector
providing social and personal care for older people and people
with dementia.
And we are committed to collaborative working, and developing
projects and partnerships; by combining forces with other
organisations, in health, social care and dementia care, we
believe that the best possible models can be designed, to
meet, more effectively, the needs of people with dementia
and all those involved in supporting them.
