for dementia is a national charity, committed to improving the quality of life for all people affected by dementia.

The charity has a number of branches of support:

Admiral Nurses

Admiral Nurses are specialist mental health nurses who work within the National Health Service and are supported by for dementia. Admiral Nurses provide practical and emotional support to family carers from the point of diagnosis through to the period of bereavement.

Admiral Nursing DIRECT

Admiral Nursing DIRECT is a telephone and email helpline, serviced by experienced Admiral Nurses. Call 0845 257 9406 or email direct@fordementia.org.uk

for dementia Training

for dementia training specialises in the provision of high quality training courses for those who work with older people and people with dementia.

Uniting Carers for dementia

Uniting Carers for dementia is a national network of carers, former carers, family and friends of people affected by dementia.

As well as these branches of support, for dementia works in partnership with a host of organisations and networks and has set up regional centres to ensure that people everywhere can have access to the support that they need.
